House sitting can be a good fit for dogs, cats and multi-pet households that do better in their own surroundings. Instead of moving the household to the sitter, I stay in your home and follow the care plan we agree beforehand.
Because I work remotely, longer periods of normal household presence can be practical. I am not there to change how you live; the idea is to fit around the pet routine and treat the home respectfully.
What happens before a first stay
A meet & greet is strongly useful for house sitting. We can go through keys and access, feeding, walks, sleep, medication, alarms or doors, bins, plants and anything you want done before you return.
House care can be added
House sitting is also the easiest service to combine with practical jobs. Popular extras include light cleaning, fresh bedding, grocery pickup, plant watering, post and parcels, bins and basic visual home checks.
House-sitting prices
Dog house & pet sitting currently starts from £38 per night. Cat-only stays and other household arrangements can be quoted separately because care requirements can differ substantially.

Yes. House & pet sitting is designed around staying in the home, with the exact arrival, departure and routine agreed beforehand.
Will you use my home normally?
The aim is a respectful household presence while following your instructions. Access, rooms, facilities and any boundaries are discussed before the stay.
Can you care for several types of pet at once?
Yes, where the care is suitable. House sitting can work particularly well for mixed households with cats, dogs, fish or small pets.
Can you clean before I return?
Yes. Light cleaning and return-home preparation can be added by agreement; more involved cleaning can be quoted separately.
